Bob Jakub (Bobby’s Box of Stuff) is a Pittsburgh-based artist known for his repurposed thrift art paintings featuring pre-loved art personally found at community street sales, flea markets, and on grandma’s wall. Bob takes these thrifted gems and adds his own special touch, with Bigfoot being one of his favorites! His unusual additions transform discarded paintings into pop art treasures.

“I LOVE TO GO TO FLEA MARKETS! I am an Airbrush Artist by trade, creating signage and vehicle art. When Saturday morning comes around, I hit the road to find some cool old pieces of art to transform into something fun and funky. My wife comes along on these journeys…she finds all the pretty things that decorate our little Cape Cod style house. Finding art has become a great outlet for this thing I call a hobby. I don’t sign the front of the paintings because I think that the original art is just beautiful, I will not take credit for the time and love that went into them.
